There are a number of useful forms to help you switch to St.George:
1. St.George can arrange for the following Switching Financial Institution form to be sent to other financial institutions on your behalf
| Switching Financial Institutions | You can list your regular payments on this form to advise relevant organisations your new bank account details via fax or mail. You can fax the forms to St.George Bank 1300 132 755. St.George will forward these forms to the relevant organisations on your behalf within 2 business working days |

Please note that St.George will not be able to follow up any form that has been forwarded to the other financial institution. A separate form must be completed for each Direct Entry User, for example if you have a direct debit to Telstra and MBF, a seperate form must be completed for each.
2. You can use any of the following forms if you would prefer to arrange on your own the switching of your regular payments to your St.George account.

Maintain sufficient funds to cover any outstanding cheques or automatic payments you have set up.
Identify regular payments to and from your old account. Ask your other bank to provide a list of regular payments, as well as periodical payments, or use our Activity Summary to make a list. These are the organisations you'll want to tell about your new account.
Provide your employer with your new BSB and account number. Use the Salary Transfer Request Form or the Online Easy Switch Service and provide a copy to your employer.

To transfer to another account in Australia, you will need the following details:
Please be aware that when administering a transfer to an account in Australia, we only use the BSB and Account Number. We will not check the Account Name you provide. Please ensure the BSB and Account Number you provide are correct.
In some cases, the financial institution receiving the funds may check the Account Name, and may reject the payment if the Account Name is incorrect. However, the receiving institution is not obliged to verify the Account Name.
Before requesting your old bank to close your other account, check that all your regular and periodical payments and salary deposit have transferred to your new St.George account.
