St.George makes it easy to switch your banking to us with our Easy Switch online service. Once you've opened your new St.George account, we'll help you with the details, such as transferring your salary payments to your new account as well as changing your direct debit details.
Simply download and fill out a Salary Transfer Request Form and provide this to your employer.
St.George Easy Switch service can help you transfer any existing payment arrangements to service providers you have in place with your existing bank. Once your account is active, you can also make payment arrangements to your service providers through Internet Banking.
The Easy Switch Request Forms make it easy to switch your payment arrangements to your new St.George account. Fill in the details on the forms and check that all information is correct. You and any other signatories should then sign each request form and forward them to the relevant company.
You'll need to inform any company or organisation you make regular direct debits or direct credit payments to, or from which you receive regular share dividends or rental income. We can provide you with the Easy Switch Request Forms to make the switch.
Your existing financial institution may charge you fees for closing your accounts with them. You will need to contact your existing financial institution to find out.
When you open a new account with St.George, you will receive a letter stating your new BSB (six digit number) and account number.
