This issue of George focuses on leading with confidence, planning for the future and growth. Our cover story is a profile of Ewen McKenzie. Best known now as the coach behind this year’s champion Super Rugby team, the Queensland Reds, he is also an astute business manager and a very effective operator within the organisations he’s joined.

We take a look at some of our successful customers, from legal firm Sparke Helmore (with a 129-year history and a uniquely business-focused approach to managing and providing legal services) to construction and engineering firm Civmec (whose carefully-planned expansion during an economic downturn has paid handsome dividents) and health insurance provider nib (which has grown from a local, Newcastle-based fund to one of Australia’s key industry players).
