Yes. You can change your security number at any time simply by accessing Phone Banking and choosing option 4 and then option 1. In fact, for increased security we recommend you update your security number regularly.
There are some rules to protect you when selecting your security number:
1. Easy to remember numbers such as 1111 or 1234 cannot be selected
2. Don't use your date of birth or other easily known personal information
3. It's recommended that your phone and Internet Banking security number be different from any of your ATM/EFTPOS PINs.
Whether you're calling locally, from interstate or from a mobile phone, the most you'll pay is the current local call cost.
Calling from overseas will incur normal overseas rates and charges.
