Step 1: Choose your level of cover
When choosing your level of cover, consider the value of your car and how much cover you’d like. For full details, see the Cover Comparison table below. |Cover||Description||Best for me?|
|Comprehensive||This cover offers comprehensive protection against loss or damage to your vehicle as a result of an accident, fire or theft. Includes cover for liability if your vehicle is involved in an incident causing loss or damage to someone else’s vehicle or property. For a list of the inclusions, see the ‘Inclusions’ table.||Consider this level of cover if your car is relatively new, or high in value or a leased vehicle, or if you need cover for a motorcycle, trailer or horse float.|
|Third Party Fire & Theft||This covers your vehicle for damage as a result of fire or theft. Includes cover for liability if your vehicle is involved in an incident causing loss or damage to someone else’s vehicle or property.||You might consider this insurance if your car has a lower value and you prefer a lower premium but still want cover for fire and theft.|
|Third Party Property Damage||Cover for liability if your vehicle is involved in an incident causing loss or damage to someone else’s vehicle or property.||This level of cover has the lowest premium, and protects your legal liability.|
