Who is Business Access Saver for (when opened with a Freedom Business Account)?

  • Customers looking for a savings account that earns a variable interest rate, and who want access to the funds at any time
  • Customers needing a transaction account in the same name with which to move funds in and out of the savings account. Please note, this account will not be added to your application if you already have an eligible account.

 


 

Who can apply?

  • 18+ years old (applicant plus all signatories)
  • Must not be an individual using the account for predominantly personal purposes
  • Eligible entities include sole traders, partnerships, companies, associations, self-managed super funds, trusts and not-for-profit organisations
  • Operating in Australia with an Australian address
  • Business Access Saver needs an eligible St.George business transaction account to link to.

 


 

What you get:

Business Access Saver

  • A savings account to make regular deposits to grow savings balances
  • Earn interest on balances, paid monthly
  • Access to your funds at any time through Internet and Phone Banking.


Freedom Business Account (if you don't already have an eligible transaction account)

  • A transaction account to receive, deposit and withdraw funds, and make payments
  • Unlimited electronic transactions
  • 30 staff-assisted and cheque transactions per month
  • A Business Visa Debit Card
  • An optional cheque book
  • Ability to link an overdraft facility.


What you don't get:

Business Access Saver

  • The ability to make payments directly from the account. You’ll need to transfer funds via your St.George transaction account
  • Interest paid if interest rates fall to zero or below
  • A cheque book (though you can get one with your transaction account).


Freedom Business Account

  • Interest paid on funds held.
