- Let the police know immediately if the damage is malicious, property has been stolen/lost or your home has been illegally entered
- Don’t allow anyone to repair the property until we’ve had a chance to inspect it
3. What if further information is required?
We’ll send you a letter confirming your claim and case number, plus any further information or documents we may need you to provide such as copies of original receipts for items you’re claiming and the police report

How long does it take to settle a claim?
If no further information is needed, we’ll settle your claim within 10 business days after we’ve received your documentation.
