Are you ready for 2017?

As the holiday season comes to an end, it’s time to prepare your business for the year ahead. Here are some handy tips on how Business Banking Online can help you and your business get ready for 2017.

Do you need to update the contact details for your business? You can make updates to your contact details in Business Banking Online if you are a Company Administrator with a SecurID® token.

  1. Sign into Business Banking Online
  2. Click on Admin
  3. Click on Company Administration and enter your token and token password
  4. Click on Company details
  5. Update your contact details
     

Have you checked your scheduled payments lately? Do you need to make any updates this year?

  1. Sign into Business Banking Online
  2. Click on Payments
  3. Click on Scheduled payments
  4. Review your scheduled payments and edit to make any changes if required. Please note that edited payments will need to be re-authorised and submitted.
     

Have you done a review of all your Users and their permissions (e.g. access levels, authorisation limit etc)?

  1. Sign into Business Banking Online
  2. Click on Admin
  3. Click on Company Administration and enter your token and token password
  4. Click on Users and click on the name of the User
  5. Review their permissions and make any changes if required
  6. To review which accounts the User has access to, click on Access and make any changes if required


Have you done a review of your daily transaction limit in Business Banking Online?

  1. Sign into Business Banking Online
  2. Click on Admin
  3. Click on Company Administration and enter your token and token password
  4. Click on Company details
  5. Scroll down to Transaction Limit and make any changes if required.

Do you need to view your payees, billers, groups and other templates? This is a good time to manage your existing payees, billers, groups and templates and remove those that are no longer required.

  1. Sign into Business Banking Online
  2. Click on Payees & Billers
  3. Click on Payees
  4. Select the payee you would like to review and make changes if required
  5. Repeat steps 3 and 4 for your saved Billers, Groups, and Overseas Telegraphic Transfer and Direct Entry templates if required.
