PayID® and Osko® payments

• Your PayID name will be your first and last name (for personal customers) and/or your registered business entity name (for customers using their business profile). This will be shown to you at the time you create your PayID. There isn't an option to change the name displayed.
• If you don't wish for your name to be displayed, you can still be paid in near real-time to your eligible account without registering a PayID.
• When you make a payment to others with PayID, the PayID name will be displayed letting you verify the payee before confirming the payment.

Call us on 13 33 30 to close your PayID and update your Secure Code number or ABN on our records. You will then be able to create a PayID with your new details.

• To transfer a PayID that you created with another financial institution to St.George, the other financial institution will first need to put your PayID into a transfer state. Then you can set up a PayID with us as normal.
• To transfer a PayID created with St.George to another financial institution, contact our Help Desk on 13 33 30 and ask us to put your PayID into a Transfer state. You can then contact the other financial institution to complete the transfer.
• Until the transfer is completed, Osko payments to your PayID will be directed to your account with us.
• If the transfer does not complete within 14 days, it will expire and your PayID will remain linked to your St.George account. You can request us to transfer your PayID again at any time.
• Once your PayID has been successfully registered with the other financial institution, payments to your PayID will no longer be received into your St.George account.

• To temporarily stop payments to your PayID: contact us on 13 33 30 to lock your PayID. You can then call us back and ask us to unlock it when you are ready to use it again.
• To permanently stop payments to your PayID and deactivate it: contact us on 13 33 30 to close your PayID.
• Once your PayID is closed, you will no longer be able to receive payments to it – but you can still receive Osko payments to your eligible BSB and account number.
• Once closed, you can create your PayID again anytime with a participating financial institution.
• As we monitor PayID usage to manage misuse and fraud, we may close your PayID if it is involved in a PayID Registration Conflict and the PayID has been inactive for at least 6 months or you are not able to demonstrate authority to use it. We may also close your PayID if you de-register from Internet Banking.

• You can request a payment recall or trace on your PayID and Osko payment through Internet Banking or the St.George App.
• A payment recall is where we try to get the money back in the instance where a payment has been made to the incorrect account or a duplicate payment has been made. A payment trace is where we find the account the money has been paid into in the instance where a payee says they have not received the payment.
• We cannot guarantee that a payment recall will be successful as it is dependent on several factors including the receiving bank agreeing to return the funds.
• After submitting a payment recall or trace request, we typically have an outcome within two weeks although in some cases it may take up to four weeks.

• Logon to Internet Banking or the St.George App.
• Click on the transaction you would like to recall or trace.
• Scroll down and click on Report this transaction.
• Answer all the questions, when you are finished click Submit.
