iPad users can download the latest app from the App Store
The Android tablet app is no longer available for download. Android tablet users can access banking by going to stgeorge.com.au and logging in to Internet Banking. If you have questions about using Internet Banking, see our Internet Banking FAQs.
From the home screen tap ‘Transfer & Pay’. You’ll be prompted to logon.
Select the ‘From’ account.
Select who to pay (you can also search for the payee), enter the amount and payment date.
Quick Pay – You can also add up to 5 frequent payments to Quick Pay. Once a payment is confirmed, on the receipt screen, choose 'save as Quick Pay transaction' by tapping the star. You can view Quick Pay transactions by pulling down the gripper at the top of the accounts screen. Choose your favourite transaction by marking it with a star – this will then sit on the top right hand corner of your accounts screen. One tap and the payment is made.
Yes. You can place a scheduled payment on hold or release a scheduled payment that has been placed on hold. You can also delete a scheduled payment you've previously set up. On the accounts screen tap the ‘Services’ icon at the bottom of the accounts screen, then Scheduled and Past Payments (under My Payments). Then tap the payment to see the hold and delete options.
Yes. You can view any scheduled payments due to come out of your account in the next 7 days, or select view all. To view scheduled payments, tap the ‘Services’ icon at the bottom of the accounts screen and then tap ‘Scheduled Payments’ (under My Payments).
To use the St.George Banking app on your iPad, your web browser must be configured to accept ‘cookies1’.

In the unlikely event that an unauthorised transaction does occur (and it is clear you have not contributed to the losses, subject to the account’s terms and conditions) we will refund the full amount. Read more about our commitment to you.
If you ever misplace any of your cards you can put a temporary lock on it that prevents any unauthorised transactions taking place again and it will be ready to use immediately. If your card is locked and you need to access cash, simply generate a Cardless Cash code from within the iPad Banking app to withdraw cash from an ATM without your card.
There are two different types of regular payment and the type of your payment you have set up will determine whether the payment will pay out.
Direct Debit: A Direct Debit is set up using your BSB and Account number and is linked to your account and not specifically to your card, this means that Direct Debits will continue to pay out when your card is locked. Recurring Payment: A Recurring Payment is set up using your Card Number and is linked directly to the specific card that you have locked, this means that this payment will not pay out when your card is locked.
All of your Direct debits will appear on your account in the 'Scheduled Payments' list in the 'Payments' section of your account. Recurring payments will not appear in this list.
