Transfers and payments

On the Accounts page, tap the account and your transactions history will display. You can slide the ‘Transactions’ heading to the right for your statement, account details, or to the left to go to the Services menu.

To make a transfer or payment simple:

1. Open St.George Mobile Banking;
2. Tap 'Transfer & pay' from the home screen. You'll be prompted to logon;
3. Select the account you would like to pay from;
4. Select who to pay (you can also search for the payee), enter the amount and payment date.

Quick Pay – You can also add up to 5 frequent payments to Quick Pay.  Once a payment is confirmed, on the receipt screen, choose "save as Quick Pay transaction" by tapping the star. You can view Quick Pay transactions by pulling down the gripper at the top of the accounts screen.  Choose your favourite transaction by marking it with a red star – this will then sit on the top right hand corner of your accounts screen. One tap and the payment is made.

   1. Internet Banking
      Arrange for a payment to your savings account, set the amount, click on 'Schedule later', set up the frequency (e.g. monthly), then set the Start and End Dates (this can be set for up to 2 years).
      
      
   2. Mobile Banking
      Arrange for a payment to your savings account, set the amount, select your ’Payment Frequency’ (e.g. monthly), then set the Start and End Dates (this can be set for up to 2 years). To update your Mobile app go to the App Store or Google Play.
       
2. Tick the box to receive an email confirmation once payment is made and click 'Continue'.
   
   
3. Click 'Confirm' to set your regular payments to your savings account.
   
   
4. You can also set up a regular deposit in branch.

      Arrange for a payment to your savings account, set the amount, select your 'Payment Frequency' (e.g. once off), then set the payment date. To update your Mobile app go to the App Store or Google Play.

4. You can also set up future payment in branch.

Yes. You can set up a recurring payment for a specific amount. However, you can't schedule a recurring payment for the 'minimum' or 'full amount'.

Yes. You can place a scheduled payment on hold or release a scheduled payment that has been placed on hold. You can also delete a scheduled payment you've previously set up.  To delete a scheduled payment or put it on hold, login and tap the Services icon at the bottom of the accounts screen, then tap Scheduled Payments (under My Payments).

Yes. You can view any scheduled payments due to come out of your account in the next 7 days, or select view all. To view scheduled payments, tap the Services icon at the bottom of the accounts screen and then tap Scheduled Payments (under My Payments).

Please note, you can only make overseas transfers to international payees that you have set up in Internet Banking.  If you’d like to add a new international payee please do this in Internet Banking. 

1. Tap the Payments icon at the bottom of the account screen

2. Choose ‘Transfer and pay’

3. Select the ‘From’ account.

4. In the ‘To’ field, tap on the O/Seas icon then select the correct beneficiary. Or use the Search box, just start typing the name of the beneficiary and then choose from the selection shown.

The beneficiary’s account details and currency will then be pre-populated in the transfer and pay screen.

1. Tap the Payments icon at the bottom of the account screen
2. Tap ‘Transfer and pay’
3. Select the ‘From’ account
4. From here you have two options:
   a). In the ‘To’ field, tap on the Billers icon then scroll through the list and select the correct BPAY biller. To add a new BPAY biller tap ‘Add new’ at the bottom of this list.
   b). Use the Search box, just start typing the BPAY name or Biller Code and then choose from the selection shown.
5. Follow the prompts to complete your payment.
