Card Lock

If you ever misplace any of your cards you can put a temporary lock on it that prevents any unauthorised transactions taking place again and it will be ready to use immediately. The card will also be locked in any digital wallets it is currently added to. If your card is locked and you need to access cash, simply generate a Cardless Cash code from within the Mobile Banking app to withdraw cash from an ATM without your card.

To lock your card, either:

• Go to 'Services'
• Go down to 'Your Cards'
• Select  'Lock Card'
• Choose the card you wish to lock
• Press the lock icon next to the card number
• You should now receive confirmation that your card is locked
• The card will also be locked in any digital wallets it is currently added to

OR

• Select your account
• Choose the ‘Services’ menu
• Select ‘Lock Card’
• Choose the card you wish to lock
• Press the lock icon next to the card number
• You should now receive confirmation that your card is locked
• The card will also be locked in any digital wallet it is currently added to

If you find your card you can easily unlock your card by either:

• Clicking on 'Review now' from your Account dashboard page.  If you have locked one of your cards there will be a message that should appear. This will bring up your locked card
• Press the lock icon next to the card number of the locked card
• You will now receive confirmation that your card is unlocked
• The card will also be unlocked in any digital wallets it is currently added to

OR

• Select your account
• Choose the 'Services' menu
• Select 'Lock Card'
• Unlock your card by clicking on the unlock icon next to the card number
• The card will also be unlocked in any digital wallets it is currently added to

Once you unlock your card it will be available and ready to use immediately

If you cannot find your card you can report your card Lost or Stolen by selecting the "Lost or Stolen" option in the Services menu.

Your card will then be cancelled and a replacement card will be sent out to your home address.

The best way to access money whilst your card is locked is by using Cardless Cash.

No new card transactions can occur during the time that the lock is placed on your card.

There are two different types of regular payment and the type of your payment you have set up will determine whether the payment will pay out.

Direct Debit: A Direct Debit is set up using your BSB and Account number and is linked to your account and not specifically to your card, this means that Direct Debits will continue to pay out when your card is locked.
Recurring Payment: A Recurring Payment is set up using your Card Number and is linked directly to the specific card that you have locked, this means that this payment will not pay out when your card is locked.

All of your Direct debits will appear on your account in the 'Scheduled Payments' list in the 'Payments' section of your account. Recurring payments will not appear in this list.
